F.I.P.S. has two convenient locations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), making it easy for clients from Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, and surrounding areas to access our services.

Digital fingerprinting involves capturing fingerprints electronically and submitting them directly to the RCMP in real time, which significantly reduces processing times—often to as little as 72 hours.

Electronic fingerprints are commonly required for:

• Employment and security clearance (PSPC, Controlled Goods)
• Canadian citizenship and permanent residence
• Immigration and visa applications
• Record Suspension (Pardon) applications
• U.S. Waiver applications
• Name change and adoption
• Licensed medicinal cannabis producers

Ink-and-roll fingerprinting is typically required for international background checks and foreign government agencies. It is used when electronic submission is not accepted.

We provide ink fingerprinting for submissions to many countries, including, but not limited to:

• United States (FBI FD-258)
• Philippines (NBI)
• Nigeria
• Singapore
• Hong Kong
• Iran
• Taiwan
• South America and other international jurisdictions

• Electronic (Digital) Fingerprinting: $65.00 (tax included)
  An additional $25.00 RCMP processing fee may apply
• Ink-and-Roll Fingerprinting: $65.00 (tax included)
  Discounts available for extra ink sets done on the same visit

• Ink fingerprinting: Timelines depend on the receiving country or organization.
